How Loometry handles personal information.
This notice explains the limited personal information used for the public website, contact requests, and any separately agreed Model Change Assessment.
Section 01
Who is responsible for the information.
Loometry is currently operated from Ontario while incorporation is being prepared.
Loometry (a pre-incorporation startup project operated from Ontario, Canada) is the current service operator and privacy contact. “Loometry Corporation” is only a proposed future corporate name. It must not be treated as an incorporated legal entity until a certificate of incorporation is issued.
A signed order form or other paid agreement will identify the actual legal seller, business address, and contracting details. This preview notice must be updated if the operating entity changes.
Section 02
Information we collect.
We collect only what is needed to answer enquiries, scope and provide agreed work, meet business obligations, and protect the service.
- Contact information, such as name, business email, company, role, team size, and the details included in an enquiry.
- Engagement information, such as assessment requirements, model and provider choices, approved test inputs, results, reports, and review messages when a written scope permits that work.
- Provider-access information only when a written assessment scope requires customer-approved provider access. Provider credentials must stay outside public forms and customer reports.
- Technical and security information processed by the site or its infrastructure providers, such as IP address, browser and request metadata, timestamps, error classes, and security events.
- Commercial information, such as proposals, agreements, invoices, and payment status.
Section 03
Why we use it.
Personal information is used for enquiries, scoped assessments, security, business administration, and legal obligations—not behavioural advertising.
- Respond to enquiries and provide agreed comparisons, reports, and customer support.
- Prevent abuse, investigate incidents, and protect the public site, assessment work, providers, and customers.
- Review fit and improve the assessment process using information permitted by the applicable scope and agreement.
- Prepare proposals, manage contracts and billing, and meet tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.
- Send service communications and respond to requests. Marketing messages will require the permissions and unsubscribe controls applicable to the recipient.
Section 04
Legal bases and consent.
The applicable basis depends on the person, location, and activity.
For people in the EEA, United Kingdom, or similar jurisdictions, Loometry expects to rely on steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing a business service, compliance with law, and consent where consent is required. Canadian consent and reasonable-purpose requirements apply where applicable.
You may withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing and may prevent us from providing an optional service you requested.
Section 05
When information is shared.
We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- Infrastructure and hosting providers listed on the Subprocessors page for the public site and contact request.
- Customer-directed model or service providers when an authorised user asks Loometry to run work against that provider.
- Professional advisers, authorities, or counterparties where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, safety, financing, restructuring, or a business transaction.
- Customer reviewers identified in the applicable assessment scope or agreement.
Section 06
International processing.
The public site and a customer-selected model provider may process information in more than one country.
Information may be processed in Canada, the United States, and other locations used by a listed infrastructure provider or customer-selected model provider. Laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.
Contractual and transfer safeguards, including any required data-processing terms or standard contractual clauses, remain subject to professional review and customer contracting needs.
Section 07
Retention and deletion.
We keep information only while it serves the stated purpose, a customer instruction, security, or a legal obligation.
Retention varies by record type and the customer relationship. Contact enquiries are kept while they are useful for follow-up. Assessment working material and outputs follow the written scope or agreement. Security, financial, and dispute records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary or required by law.
Deletion requests are evaluated against the applicable scope, contractual commitments, fraud prevention, infrastructure retention, and legal duties.
Section 08
Your choices and rights.
Rights vary by jurisdiction, and Loometry will verify the requester before acting.
- Ask for access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection where applicable.
- Withdraw consent where consent is the basis, or unsubscribe from optional marketing communications.
- Ask about Canadian privacy handling or complain to the applicable regulator; EEA and UK individuals may contact their supervisory authority.
- Authorised agents may submit requests where local law permits and valid authority can be verified.
Section 09
Contact and updates.
Send privacy questions or rights requests to [email protected].
This notice may change as Loometry incorporates, adds providers, launches paid service, or changes its processing. Material changes will be identified by a new version or updated date before they take effect where advance notice is required.
Loometry is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 18. Please do not provide a child’s personal information.
